📝 Excellent Japanese food restaurant in the city center. Pretty popular, fair prices and great service: note that as of September 2023 the staff still weared face masks.
🍴 Ordered karaage as starter and tantanmen as main course. The karaage was fried nicely and came together with some onion-like veggies and mayo dip. All good but I would have appreciated it a bit saltier. The tantanmen was great and those flavours brought me back to Japan!
📍 The restaurant is on a quiet street, close to Europaallee and really only a few minutes away from the central station. I particularly appreciated the inside as well. Note that I didn't see any seating outside.

📝 Nice Japanese food restaurant with very polite and friendly service in a quite relaxed setup. Prices are really competitive for the amount and quality of food you get served.
🍴 I had the donburi combo which included a big bowl of katsudon, miso soup, 4 maki rolls and a cabbage salad. Portions were generous and taste overall good although I found too much wasabi in the salad (not even sure if it was supposed to be there?): I couldn't finish the salad because of it.
📍 The restaurant is 2 minutes away from the Kunsthaus on a rather quiet street. You can either sit inside or outside and is not pretentious at all.
☝🏼 We tried to order some starters before the combo but the girl serving us recommended to first have the combo and then later decide if we wanted something more given the size of the combo itself: she was right, we couldn't order any more food! Plus points for the honesty.

La Pasta
📝 Un buon ristorante di pasta ma anche altre ricette italiane, ad esempio la pinsa. Il servizio è stato buono e abbastanza veloce sul pranzo anche se purtroppo non sono stato convinto al 100% dal cibo per un piccolo problema.
🍴Ho ordinato una delle opzioni del menu del pranzo, le tagliatelle al sugo di costine di vitello. La pasta era buona e cotta bene, anche il sugo era saporito però purtroppo all'interno del sugo c'erano pezzi di osso e anche la pleura (o pelle) delle costine, non mi è piaciuto trovarla nel piatto. Per rendere il piatto migliore avrebbero dovuto togliere queste parti dal sugo.
📍 Il ristorante si trova a pochi passi dalla polybahn, all'inizio del Niederdorf, perfetta posizione per visitare le viuzze di questo bel quartiere storico. Al suo interno il locale ha una piacevole atmosfera.
